Leadership minute: congrats for the year and returning to familiar
Treasurer’s report: Budget is updated
Student Involvement: Next year is dependent on flex time. We need to know when club rush is. Could be a student council position
Teacher treats: May 13 doughnuts. Mints or lifesavers in the break room throughout April and May
Scholarship: Four applications, they will each receive a $500 scholarship. Ashley made a motion to move $700 from the scholarship fund to grad night for deal or no deal. Ami seconded and the motion was approved
Council Awards to Mr. Mills, Melissa, Luke Steadman, Rick
Grad night: Parents, community members or businesses donating gift cards. Watch for grad night volunteer opportunities

Treasurer’s report: Budget is updated and info is on memberhub
Grad Night: Safety comes first, Dr. Perkins wants a list of possible activities for his team to approve. Stacy would love ideas for safe activities. Activities will be announced at the meeting in March
Student Involvement and Teacher appreciation: Delivered cookies to teachers before Valentines Day. March 25 deliver treat in faculty room. April 23, May 13 future dates for teacher treats

Dr. Perkins: New principal for 2021-2022 school year. No senior dinner dance but 2 outside dances were approved. Graduation TBD

Student Involvement and teacher treats: Feb 12, sugar cookies, PTSA will help deliver.
Membership: 308 members, we need to boost numbers
Nominating Committee Report: President Diane Leslie, Secretary Whitney Jensen, Treasurer Amber Mattson, Leadership VP Ami Muhlestein, Legislative VP Kathryn Enger
These names will be posted on the website for 30 days and there will be a vote in March
Battle of the bands: Use student involvement funds for prize money. Feb 3, Kathryn can help scan. Amber will be there at 8 to write checks to winners. Chris Belcher helping with sound. Student council to MC. 4 bands and 2 soloists. No food provided but each participant will receive a gift card
Grad Night: no info, waiting for guidance from the health department
Dr. Perkins: Climb higher movement to help students engage. Half of the student body is involved

Leadership minute: Focus on controlling only the things you can control
Treasurer’s report: Paid reflections awards, teacher appreciation
Reflections: 3 winners that moved on to state, official announcement on 1/14, Ami is working on video
Student Involvement: Could not do November and December. Ideas depend on room at the school, make and donate blankets to a dialysis facility, cards to residents in care centers, if no room is available they can help Heather with teacher treats. Dr. Perkins said it would be ok if it was held during lunch but he recommends students to help with teacher appreciation. Melissa and Heather will make a plan.
Teacher Treats: November and December teacher treats. Heather will continue with monthly teacher treats. January will pull from student involvement fund. Need ideas for teacher treats. Use kids to deliver.
PTSA scholarship application: all online and the deadline for applications is April 16
Nominating Committee Report: Possible secretary and possible president
Battle of the bands: Date TBD. Participants need to be tested before. Karen and Joe will set up tickets. Possible student help with taking tickets. Ashley will ask Gig for a student MC. Dr. Perkins will work through covid procedures

Treasurer’s report: received money from membership fees, outgoing funds were for teacher appreciation. If you need reimbursements email or text Amber and she will fill out the form and bring a reimbursement check
Reflections: 16 entrys, 6 advanced. Ami will give numbers to Ashley and Amber so a check can be written then Ami will hand out reward money. Because it was virtual we were able to have really good judges. Post awards,
Student Involvement: Can’t reach kids to sign up for reminders, November 20 to hand out teacher treats by students

The budget for the 2020 school year was approved. Ami Muhlestein made a motion to approve
the budget and Heather Brackett 2nd the motion, The budget was approved unanimously.
Treasurer’s report: Added $100 for the new JR. High and increased the teacher appreciation
budget
Reflections: I matter because.... Entries due Oct. 1, judging to take place on Oct. 20. Mr. Mills
will make posters
Student Involvement: Discussed new ideas for student involvement due to Covid, including;
scavenger hunt, video club rush, donation, meeting quarterly, helping with teacher appreciation,
joining with legislative to reach out to our legislators
Teacher appreciation: Dr Perkins asked us to help with giving treats or lunch to teachers on
some Fridays. Prepackaged for 175-200 faculty members
Dr. Perkins: Updated on student athletics and activities, answered questions about covid and
parent canvas, asked us to thank teachers, diffuse negative comments on social media and be
kind

The budget for the 2020 school year was approved. Ami Muhlestein made a motion to approve
the budget and Heather Brackett 2nd the motion, The budget was approved unanimously.
Treasurer’s report: Added $100 for the new JR. High and increased the teacher appreciation
budget
Reflections: I matter because.... Entries due Oct. 1, judging to take place on Oct. 20. Mr. Mills
will make posters
Student Involvement: Discussed new ideas for student involvement due to Covid, including;
scavenger hunt, video club rush, donation, meeting quarterly, helping with teacher appreciation,
joining with legislative to reach out to our legislators
Teacher appreciation: Dr Perkins asked us to help with giving treats or lunch to teachers on
some Fridays. Prepackaged for 175-200 faculty members
Dr. Perkins: Updated on student athletics and activities, answered questions about covid and
parent canvas, asked us to thank teachers, diffuse negative comments on social media and be
kind

Scholarship: Four applications, they will each receive a $500 scholarship. Ashley made a motion to move $700 from the scholarship fund to grad night for deal or no deal. Ami seconded and the motion was approved

Grad night: Parents, community members or businesses donating gift cards. Watch for grad night volunteer opportunities

Leadership minute: Focus on controlling only the things you can control
Treasurer’s report: Paid reflections awards, teacher appreciation
Reflections: 3 winners that moved on to state, official announcement on 1/14, Ami is working on video
Student Involvement: Could not do November and December. Ideas depend on room at the school, make and donate blankets to a dialysis facility, cards to residents in care centers, if no room is available they can help Heather with teacher treats. Dr. Perkins said it would be ok if it was held during lunch but he recommends students to help with teacher appreciation. Melissa and Heather will make a plan.
Teacher Treats: November and December teacher treats. Heather will continue with monthly teacher treats. January will pull from student involvement fund. Need ideas for teacher treats. Use kids to deliver.
PTSA scholarship application: all online and the deadline for applications is April 16

Battle of the bands: Date TBD. Participants need to be tested before. Karen and Joe will set up tickets. Possible student help with taking tickets. Ashley will ask Gig for a student MC. Dr. Perkins will work through covid procedures
